Our Vision

I was called to preach in my freshman year of Bible College, not knowing in what capacity God wanted me to use this calling I surrendered to do whatever the Lord wanted me to do. In my Junior year of Bible College God revealed a little more of his will to me calling me to be a missionary. As I continued to follow the Lord and seek his guidance he showed me plainly that he wanted me to be a missionary to Spain.

I finished my education and started deputation, that faint flicker I followed as a freshman in Bible college was now burning brighter and clearer. God allowed my family and I to go on deputation and during this time through personal soul winning we were able to lead more than 260 people to Christ. Two and a half years later on February 9, 2005 we arrived in Spain to begin our ministry.

Many things have taken place here during this first year in Spain. I have spent much time studying the language accumulating well over 1000 hours in study in the classroom and at home. This is all in preparation to be able to communicate the gospel clearly and effectively. We have also been able to distribute thousands of tracts here in El Puerto de Santa Maria while working with the Beck Family.

Since our arrival I have been praying that the Lord will show me what city he wants me to start a church in. I believe very confidently he has led us to Jerez, a city of 190,000 souls. My wife and I are now renting a house there and would like to start a Independent Fundamental Baptist Church in Jerez by October of 2006. We want to be the kind of church that reaches out to everyone, a lighthouse of salvation in this darkened part of the world.

The future of the gospel in Spain I believe is in the youth. I want to focus much of my early ministry on them and raise up a generation that serves God. We press on with the knowledge that there are people out there that are searching for truth and by the grace of God they will have a church in this city that preaches it, distributes it, and proclaims it. That faint flicker I followed in Bible college is now burning strongly in my heart for the soul of the Spaniard. Please partner with us in prayer as we endeavor to reach them with the gospel.
