November 1999

Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Having just completed our first quarter of full time deputation we are still in awe of the whole process.  The Lord graciously allowed us to have each month full of meetings this past quarter and what an experience it has been.  We have gone through just about every emotion known to man; fear, worry, excitement, astonishment, and on and on.  But, as always, the Lord has remained faithful.  When we stepped out by faith on full time deputation, in August of this year, we had no idea what to expect.  We just knew that it was the Lord's leading and we followed.  We have seen the Lord move in great ways, providing for our every need and working in many lives.

We would like to personally thank every single person whom the Lord has used to help us financially, spiritually, and simply by lifting our family up in prayer.  We won't ever be able to repay those who have done so much to help us but are pleased to know that the Lord will bless them.  I am reminded of Mark 9:41 "For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not loose his reward."  We have truly been humbled by God's methods of provision.

This quarter we have had the privilege of being able to reunite with some of our dear pastor friends and their family.  We have also enjoyed making many new friends.  May God bless the churches that have allowed us to present our burden for the people of Spain.  We have been shown so much loving kindness and grace from each one.  Our desire is to have been a blessing to them.  More importantly, we pray that each and every member has received the burden for Spain that God has called us to.  With nearly 40 million people, many die every day while we try to raise our support.  Unless someone reaches them for Christ, I sadly consider their destination.  Please pray that the Lord will allow us to get to Spain as soon as possible.

We hope and pray that the Lord will bless each one of you in a special way this holiday season.  We are anxiously looking forward to celebrating Christ's birthday and seeing what He has in store for us in 2000.
