Dear Fellow Laborers In Christ,

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.  We hope you are having a wonderful CHRISTmas Holiday and that you enjoy a prosperous New Year.  By the time this letter reaches you, we will be back in the states.  The government of Spain did not back down from their decision to force us out of the country.  We have fought against them and realize that for whatever reason the Lord is allowing them to make us leave.  Once we arrive in the U.S. we will re-apply for our Visas and Residencies.  If it is the Lord’s will for us to return then all will be approved and we will try to return as soon as possible.  Please pray for us as we travel.

During the past few months we filled in for Brother Larry Carlisle in Rota and had a wonderful time ministering to his flock.  We even had the blessed privilege of leading Mercedes Izquierdo to the Lord.  She had been witnessed to for over 15 years and finally decided to accept Christ as her personal Savior.  Praise His holy name.  A few days after her profession of faith we ran into her in the street and she told us how excited she was that she had Jesus in her heart.  The smile on her face and in her heart said it all.  She is now asking Brother Carlisle to baptize her.  Amen!

You may be wondering what is going to happen to our work in El Puerto.  Brother Witte and his wife will be ministering to the ones that were coming to our services.  He and his wife are such a blessing to work with.  They are worthy laborers and I ask that you pray about letting them be a part of your missionary family also.  Brother Jamin has been preaching in Spanish and is doing very well in communicating with the locals.  Sister Julie has been busy in her Spanish classes and is attempting to reach her fellow classmates.  We know that the Lord will use this couple to do a mighty work here in Spain.  They are taking a giant step of faith and launching out into the deep.  You can e-mail them and encourage them at:  jwitte7@juno.com

Please continue to pray for Carlos Clavijo, who was our lawyer/legal representative through all of this.  He helped us tremendously and didn’t charge us anything for payment.  He has been under deep conviction and knows that he needs Christ as his personal Savior.  Please continue praying for him so that he will allow the Lord to work in his heart.  We have spent numerous hours showing him God’s plan of salvation throughout the Bible.

We will begin scheduling meetings as soon as possible and if any of you would like us to stop by and report on what the Lord has done through us, please contact us to set up a date.  You can reach us at:  (865) 494-0045 or e-mail us at:  nspain4him@yahoo.com.

We want you to know that your faithfulness to us and to the Lord is appreciated.  There are not adequate words to describe how grateful we are to have such co-laborers like you standing with us and supporting us.  Thank you for the extra support you sent in for Christmas also.  May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to serve Him.
