Dear Pastors and Praying Friends,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
What
a wonderful Savior we serve! The Lord is once again opening the
windows
of heaven and pouring out blessings upon our family. We want to
thank
each and every one of you that have encouraged us with your prayers and
correspondence.
The Lord has provided us with meetings to fill up our calendar for the
next
2-3 months. We are so thankful that we serve a Lord that provides
for
our every need. We are currently at 30% of our needed support.
In our last prayer letter we asked you to pray for my mother's surgery
and
are pleased to report that she is recovering well. Unfortunately,
she
was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and is now undergoing
chemotherapy.
The Lord is giving her extra grace and mercy to handle this
situation.
I praise the Lord that she knows she has a Heavenly home to go to when
the
Lord determines to call her there. Please continue to lift her up
in
your prayers.
We are continuing to study the Spanish language as we have
opportunity
and are making some progress. On occasion we have been
blessed
with the opportunity to be involved in Spanish ministries at some of
the
churches we have visited. In order to be a more effective witness
to
the Spanish-speaking people, we must first master the language.
Please
pray that the Lord will enable us to learn Spanish quickly.
The burden in our heart to be in Spain grows day by day. We truly
desire
to be on the field before our Lord returns. Please continue to
pray
for us that we will be able to not only get to Spain before His return,
but
also lead some of the nationals to a saving knowledge of the Savior.
