June - July  2000

Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  As summer rolls around, we find ourselves close to the halfway mark.  We are right at 47% of our needed support.  We want to thank every one of you that have allowed the Lord to use you in helping our ministry.  There were several churches this last month that gave sacrificially to help us along the way.  Thank you very much.  We know the Lord will bless you for your unselfishness.

Unfortunately, we have not had many scheduled meetings during the month of July, but August and on into the fall are getting busy again.  We have been able to drop in and visit with several different churches during this time.  We would like to be able to leave for Spain by the early part of 2001.  We know that the Lord will get us there when He wants to and He is always right on time.  We just want to please Him in all that we do.  We ask that you pray for us in this matter.  Your prayers play major parts in helping us stay encouraged and go forward for the Lord.

We covet your prayers for our family, especially Patsy's mom and my mom.  Patsy's mom is in a lot of pain and the doctors are trying to find the source of the problem.  My mother's doctor has found cancer on and in her liver.  She has struggled with cancer for the last three years.  She is undergoing chemotherapy again, which consists of treatments five days in a row every four weeks.  Thankfully, with our schedule the way it has been has allowed me to spend more time with my parents.  As in your family, we have several loved ones that still need salvation.

Please continue to pray for the souls in Spain.  We are praying that God will prepare the hearts of those that we will minister to.  Roman Catholicism is in no wise through taking souls to a devil's hell.  Spain must hear the Gospel.  Matthew 9:37,38…"Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
