Dear Pastor and Praying Friends,

Greetings in the name that is above every name, Jesus Christ.  These last few months have been absolutely wonderful and we want to thank the Lord for working in our lives and blessing us beyond measure.  The Lord has been filling our calendar with meetings and we are pleased to have the privilege of presenting the ministry that He has given us to several new churches.  What a great honor it is to let people know what the Lord is doing and what we expect that He is going to do in the near future.  Thank you for your faithful prayers on our behalf.

Good news, Good news.  I recently had the privilege to baptize my sons, Seth and Chris.  They had made professions of faith years ago, but came to the realization recently that neither of them were saved.  Seth told me recently that back in December of 2005 he asked Christ to come into his heart and save him.  This sparked thought in Chris’s heart and he realized that he wasn’t saved either.  I led him to the Lord and was able to baptize them both on Mother’s Day.  But wait, that’s not all.  In April I was able to lead a Moroccan man to the Lord in our church.  His name is Farid  (fa-reed).  He too was baptized on Mother’s Day and now he and his wife are doing Bible studies with Patsy and me.  Farid has a very tender heart toward the Lord and is like a sponge when we study the Bible.  He is such a blessing and we look forward to how the Lord is going to use him.  Please pray for him, his wife Victoria and their three children.  PRAISE GOD!!!!!  HALLELUJAH!!!!!

Many of you have expressed concern as to when we will be going back to Spain.  We are in a difficult situation with this due to the fact that we cannot consider going back until we have raised more monthly support.  In order to return to Spain we must obtain our Visas.  Once our visa is approved we have 90 days to get to Spain.  This is where the problem lies.  We cannot begin our paperwork until we have raised the majority of the remaining support that we need.  Visa approval can take anywhere from a few months to a year depending on the Spanish government.  Therefore, we must wait until we get close to our goal in support and then apply.  We greatly appreciate your patience and grace in all of this.  If you have any questions, please contact us at the phone number below or send us an e-mail.  We do not take your sacrificial giving for granted and we want to be good stewards of the Lord’s money.

I will be going to Spain for the month of September to fill in for Pastor Chris Parker at the Bethel Baptist Church in Rota, Spain.  This is the same military work that we had a part in back in 2002.  He is coming to the states to raise more support and asked me to fill in for him.  During my time there I will be visiting with our people who were coming to our church and taking care of some our things in storage.  Please pray for me during this time and pray for Patsy and the boys while they stay here in the states.
