| Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, Greetings in the name of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. We have many blessings and praises to share with you. Your prayers and our prayers have been answered and the Lord has blessed us tremendously. Visas. All of our Visas came in and we have them in our hands right now. Thank you for your prayers on this matter. Praise the Lord!!!! Going Home. We have promised you all that as soon as we receive our Visas that we will be returning to Spain. Seth and I will be flying out on Monday, April 7, 2008 to Malaga, Spain. He and I will be looking for housing and trying to get things ready for Patsy, Chris and Daniel to come shortly after. We need your prayers that we can find the right housing for the right price in or around La Linea. We want to thank our home church for deciding to buy our plane tickets for us. What a tremendous blessing!!!! Preparation. We are packing up our belongings and awaiting a 20’ shipping container in order to send to Spain. Lord willing, we should be able to ship off our belongings and ministry materials (Bibles, tracts, etc…) on the 14th of April. Soul Winning Opportunity. We were recently able to go with one of the youth groups in our church to a mostly Hispanic neighborhood right in downtown Atlanta. Seth’s Sunday School teachers made a hand drawn coloring book that gave the Gospel message to the kids while enabling them to color pictures of Jesus through His life, death, and resurrection. We passed out close to 400 of these coloring books and we gave out over 30 Spanish Bibles. Patsy, Seth, and I were able to witness to numerous people in Spanish. I would ask them, “If you died today, would you go to Heaven or Hell?” and the majority would tell me Heaven. When I asked them what they based it on, they could not tell me. This in turn gave me good opportunity to tell them how they could know that they would go to Heaven. Although we did not see any conversions that day, we planted seed that the Lord can bring to fruition. Prayers Requests. While the Lord has blessed greatly through your prayers on our behalf, we still need your prayers in the following areas: 1. Souls to be saved. Pray that the Lord will soften the hearts of the people of Spain and Gibraltar to the Gospel. 2. A Church to be Planted. Our goal is to establish a church as soon as the Lord allows. 3. Leaders to be trained. We are asking the Lord to give us the leaders that He would have to be trained for the ministry. 4. Finances. The Euro is growing stronger everyday and is much worse than when we were there before. According to financial forecasts it will only continue to grow. 5. Traveling Mercies. Please pray for all of us as we travel back home. 6. Garrett. Please ask the Lord to guide and direct Garrett in his life. We know the Lord is in control, but momma and daddy still worry about their boy. 7. Home School. As other missionaries in Spain are being persecuted over home schooling by the government, we are asking the Lord to allow us to continue home schooling our children. We want to thank you from the depths of our hearts for your continued faithfulness and support through prayers and finances. Because of your faithfulness we can go and do what the Lord has called us to do. |
