| Dear Pastor and Praying Friends, Greetings in the name of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. We thank the Lord for all that He is doing in our lives and how He continually supplies our every need. Our support has gone from 82% to 85% since our last prayer letter. As stated in our last letter, when we get 90%, we will reapply for our Visas and Residencies. Finally we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel. We have had meetings in Florida, Virginia, Kansas, and North Carolina. The Lord even gave me opportunity to present our field on Fundamental Broadcasting Network at the Grace Baptist Church in Newport, NC. I praise the Lord for such a wonderful Christian radio station that hasn’t given in to the modern “Christian” movement. They have the old time hymns of the faith and great fundamental Bible preaching. I highly recommend that you listen to FBN. You can get it on line at fbnradio.com. During the past two months (March and April) we were able to witness to scores of people about their need to be saved. I was really discouraged after talking with several Hispanics of their need of Christ and their acknowledgment of that need, yet they would not surrender themselves to Him. Sadly this is the normal response from people who have been steeped in Catholicism. Please ask the Lord to continue to work in their hearts. We ask that you pray for us as we travel to Arkansas, South Dakota, and Montana. We want to be a blessing to the churches that we will be in and we want to stir their hearts concerning the lost souls in Spain. This will definitely be the greatest distance that we have traveled away from home in our van. As you pray for us, please ask the Lord to protect us and our van (tires, engine, etc…). As we prepare to go back to Spain, we need you to pray for us and all missionaries there who home school. Michael and Ketty Branson are battling the Spanish government over the right to home school their children at this time. While it appears that they may win this legal battle, it is something that we all will have to face on an individual basis. The European Union as a whole is against this freedom. As parents, we rejoice and give God the glory, because all of our children have now made professions of faith in Christ as their personal Savior. Daniel came to me the other day asking if he would be saved when he turned five years old. I asked him why he thought he needed to be saved and he told me it was because he did bad things and that he didn’t want to go to hell. I told him that the only way he could be saved was to ask Jesus to forgive him of his sins and ask Him to come into his heart and save him. He knelt down on the floor and began to pray; asking Jesus to forgive him and come into his heart. GLORY, HALLELUJAH, PRAISE GOD. We have always made it a priority in our home to make sure that our children know how to be saved. While we need to win souls in Spain and wherever we travel, I would be a failure and a curse if I did not strive to win my own family to Christ. |
